It was a strange encounter, and he did not plan this at all,as if he would intend to do so. It has been decades since the queen has been seen again, and he had not even met the queen before. Yet there she stood, beautiful than anything he had seen before, so elegant, so fragile. Oh but how irony it is;-
-That Life hates Death, and Death knows that too.
Death may not have met the Goddess of Life personally before this, he know of her of course, but the closest he had with life was only under certain occasions when life and death are both present. For example, when a birth of a child and a soul of a mother that needed to be reap was occurred in the same room. The pulse of her magic, the sensation of 'life'. It was all too familiar.
How did he not realise it earlier? Why had he not notice the barrier's magic when he destroyed it? Why did it only come into hi sense, after he saw 'her' standing in front of his eyes? He wondered if it was fate or just incredibly ironic, that after an age of hiding, it was Death who comes knocking.
Their first encounter was not quite pleasant,or you could say it was not quite heart 'warming' either. He remembers that moment when he walked through the barrier when he saw the Goddess of Life, they were both stunned. He did not expect her and he believes she thought so too. When they both had finally come to realization of each other's identity, she struck first.
