"You...!" He could felt her anger slowly building up.
"What's wrong? You seem like you had just met 'death'..." He did not expect a life of fire coming to his way. "Woah! Lady, calm down. Don't you know how to greet a pal?" Oddly, the fire did not spread, nor did it actually burn off anything. Huh, she really must be life.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
He did not directly answer the question, however, "They said life is full of surprises, and what is more surprising than having death's visiting?" Another fireball came to his way. Seriously, could she not randomly throw a fireball at him when he was trying to talk?
"Leave this place at once!" They had a battle. It did not take really long for it to end. Sure, Death knew that both he and Life's power are evenly match, perhaps Life had isolated herself for too long, she had a hard time fighting with him. Maybe he should had shown some mercy to her. She, after all, was still his queen.
"Don't you know it is rude to just barge into someone's place without an invitation?" The queen gave him glare daggers. He decided to take that as a moment of peace between them and lower down his scythe.
"I'm sorry, death was never invited to any else where, so he just couldn't stop being rude," he shrugged.
"..." He can't tell what is going on inside the queen's mind. Her highness won't stop staring at her. He decided to say something else.
"It seems that what I am looking for isn't here. Well then, we will meet again." The goddess of Life hears this in shocked, "Looking for someone? How dare you hunt my-" The goddess of Death has disappeared in front of her eyes before she could finished her sentences. The queen stare at where Death once stood in silence.
Death return to their home, the underground, and would not stop thinking about his new found information.
If Death is curious of Life, then the same goes to the opposite.
