He heard sobbing coming from the end of the hallway. At first he was curious of the voice, but he soon find a little girl hiding under the stairs all alone. She looked very much different than any of the girls he ever seen, instead of having black hair like his classmates, she have a long blonde hair. He look at her with questions.
"Are you... crying?" The girl heard him and quickly wiped her tears away. "N-no! I wasn't!" But the boy could tell from her puffy red eyes, she was lying. The boy thought for a second and decided to sit beside the girl, "Did someone stole your candy?"
"Huh?" The girl didn't catch what he had said. He repeat, "did someone stole your candy and ate it?" She went silence, long later she shook her head. "No? Then why are you crying?"
"No one wants to talk to me..." The girl slowly says, eyes staring on the ground. "They all think I'm strange and they laugh at me because of my hair."
"Why is your hair yellow?" The boy asked in curious, feeling bad for the girl.
"Because my mummy's hair are yellow, so my hair is yellow too." The girl looks at her braid angrily, "I don't like my hair, why must it be yellow like my mummy? Why can't it be black like my daddy?"
"But I like your hair," the boy's comment made the girl look at him in the eye for the first time. "Really?" The boy nodded, "I like yellow and your hair is yellow. I think your hair is pretty!" She looked down, "no one has ever said that to me..." The boy smile brightly, "well now you do!" The bell suddenly rang.
The boy look at the other end of the hallway where lots of kids are running around and is in completely mess, "oh, the class is going to start. Come on, lets get back to our class, what class are you in?"
"K2 Green..."
"That's next to my class, I'm K2 Red! We can walk back to our class together, lets go!" The boy waited for the girl to stand up and immediately pulls her with him. The girl nearly stumble, "H-hey! Slow down!" The boy laughs a little and says, "Nope, we are getting late for class!" Soon the end of the hallway is filled with laughter, a seed of friendship has been planted between the two little children.
